Fall Acorn with floss

Textilly Crafts' Fall Acorn pattern was designed by Lara Baggett.  The model was stitched on 32 count linen.

stitch count: 57w X 73h

floss used: Pirate + Robin Floss (2 skeins included with pattern) 

The model is stitched with a variegated thread that has long color repeats, allowing you to choose the color placement.  Once you unwind the skein you'll find that there are 2 sections that repeat, a green/teal section and a brown/copper section.  You can cut the floss at the point where the floss starts to change colors then use the brown/ copper for those portions for the pattern and the green/teal for those.

This pattern does not contain any fractional stitches or backstitching.  This could be a good choice for a new stitcher wanting to work with a variegated floss.
