The Gentle Art

We carry The Gentle Art Sampler and Simply Shaker Threads. These hand over dyed flosses are designed to give your cross stitch projects that antiqued, faded, folk art look.

Note for those new to hand over dyed floss: Many over dyed flosses are variegated. These may be slight tone on tone variegation like Adobe or more dramatic like Creekbed. Due to this, you do not want to use a loop start. You'll need to anchor the floss on the back of your project instead. This will allow the colors to appear as designed.
